What we collect
- Cost estimator. Your answers about the property and cameras, and, if you ask for the exact quotation, your name, mobile number, address or town. We send a one-time code to your WhatsApp to confirm the number.
- WhatsApp, phone and email. Anything you send us when you call, write or use the contact and careers forms. These forms do not send anything themselves; they open WhatsApp with your message, and you choose whether to send it.
- Usage data. Google Analytics records anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and the type of device.
Why we use it
- To prepare your quotation, call you back and arrange a site visit.
- To install, service and support your system.
- To issue invoices and meet our tax and legal duties.
- To understand which pages help visitors, and improve the site.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored
Estimator enquiries are saved to our enquiry sheet in Google Workspace and sent to us on WhatsApp. Conversations stay in WhatsApp (Meta). Usage data is processed by Google Analytics. The contact page shows a map from Google Maps.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as they are useful for following up and for our records. Customer and invoice details are kept for as long as the law requires.
Cookies
The site itself does not set cookies for logging in or tracking you. Google Analytics and the embedded Google Map may set their own cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, except what we must keep for legal reasons. Write to info@smartsecurevision.com or message us on WhatsApp at 9414909092.
CCTV footage at your site
Footage from cameras we install is recorded on your own recorder and belongs to you. We only see it when you ask us to, for example during setup or support.
